Carla Mellor is a spoken-word artist and published poet whose words focus on the extraordinary every day. She has worked on a variety of poetry commissions for charities and socially-driven organisations, using her words to get to the heart of things.

Carla has over a decade of Marketing and Communications experience; expertise that informs her knowledge of story-led brand campaigns. Carla’s poetry is built around meaningful messaging, brought to life through her spoken-word style narration.

Carla has worked with SPAR, We Care Campaign, BBC and booking.com and shared the stage with the likes of Toria Garbutt, Anthony Szmierek, Matt Abbott and Louise Fazackerely.

Carla co-runs Yorkshire Poets Society and is the Communications Director for Doc North.
